The previous IML website had been in place for a number of years, and was in need of full redesign and development, consistent with the latest branding objectives.
The upgrade also needed to improve business process for publishing Unit Price and Performance of several funds.
A later addition to the website addressed the issue of not being able to capture visitor details, with potential clients leaving the site untracked after reading high quality content.
Working closely with a chosen branding agency and graphic designer, the site was completely redeveloped using the Drupal CMS (Content Management System).
In addition, a process was developed (see also ‘Seymour’ automation product) whereby Unit Price and Performance data is collected automatically from custodian emails, and output to the new website, without the need to manually copy and paste from spreadsheets.
Later on, gated content was integrated into the site, so that visitor details could be captured at the time of reading.
The website was developed using Drupal for the CMS, together with Microsoft .Net for the process automation.
As well as providing a more efficient and less error prone internal process for IML operations and marketing, the front end of the site includes stunning looking and interactive graphing which significantly enhances the experience for visitors to the site.
By creating high quality content which was ‘gated’ ie requiring user details to access, potential client contacts were increased significantly.
